Paul Kitson was named head of U.K. pensions consulting at Ernst & Young, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. Kitson leads a team of over 50 actuaries and investment consultants advising pension funds, corporate plan sponsors and pension providers across the U.K. Details of his predecessor or their next appointment could not be immediately learned.
"EY advises some of the largest U.K. pension funds, and in such challenging economic times, Paul's deep sector knowledge, experience and vision for growth will be invaluable," Paul Sparkes, U.K. financial services consulting leader at EY, said in a news release.
Mr. Kitson joined EY in October 2022 as partner. He previously spent a decade at PwC, where he was a U.K. partner advising corporates and pension funds on a wide range of areas.
