Olivier Cassin was named head of investments and research at investment consultant bfinance.
It is a new position, a spokesman said in an email. Based in London, Mr. Cassin will lead the investment consulting firm's global research activities, including manager selection, portfolio design, risk analytics and ESG advisory services.
Mr. Cassin, who is rejoining the firm after leaving in 2014 following a 10-year stint there, was previously head of Europe, the Middle East and Asia client solutions and liquidity at BNY Mellon Investment Management. A BNY Mellon spokeswoman said in an email that Mr. Cassin’s responsibilities have been “further integrated” into the business following his departure. Ivo Batista, senior portfolio manager, with support from Henry Wright, client consultant, leads client solutions, now known as investor solutions, and liquidity is now led by Oscar Monteiro, head of European institutional liquidity sales.
