Rebecca Mather, a Sydney-based principal consultant, sustainable investments with Mercer, has been named the firm's sustainable investment leader, Pacific.
The position — responsible for the sustainable investments business' commercial outcomes and revenue targets — is new, a spokeswoman said.
Mercer, meanwhile, is looking to fill another new position: client leader, sustainable investing–Pacific, responsible for leading ESG and climate advice for clients.
Separately, Alexis Cheang, a Sydney-based partner and acting global business leader, sustainable investment, has left the firm, the spokeswoman confirmed.
Ms. Cheang couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Globally, the firm has committed "more than $80 billion of diversified funds to net-zero targets and implemented $30 billion in dedicated sustainable investment solutions across 13 products," according to a Mercer news release.
