Benoit Hudon was named president and CEO of Mercer U.K., the London-based firm said Monday in a news release.
Mr. Hudon replaces Sylvia Pozezanac, who joined Mercer in 2019. Mercer U.K. spokesman Emmanuel Ofosu-Appiah said in an email that Ms. Pozezanac left Mercer to return to the U.S.
Mr. Hudon's appointment is subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority. He will retain the role of U.K. wealth leader that he has held since 2018. He will also join the firm's executive leadership team.
Mr. Hudon will be based in London and report to Martine Ferland, president and CEO of Mercer and vice chairman of parent company Marsh McLennan. "Benoit has consistently delivered for our business, amplifying the differentiated value Mercer brings to our clients and unlocking the full potential of our colleagues. I look forward to continuing to partner with him and the U.K. team as we look ahead to a bright future," Ms. Ferland said in the release.
