Vida Tandean was appointed head of Asia investments for indirect private real estate strategies at CBRE Investment Management (Singapore), the firm said in a statement on Monday.
She is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing the investment and asset management process for the team.
Based in Singapore. Ms. Tandean was appointed at the end of 2022, a spokeswoman said. She replaces Ping Wong, who joined Frasers Property in Singapore as chief investment officer in July.
Ms. Tandean reports to Alex Crossing, head of APAC for our indirect strategies.
Ms. Tandean joins from the multimanager real estate team at UBS Asset Management (Singapore), where she was a director. Her responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting and delivering innovative investment solutions for clients. UBS did not immediately respond to queries about her replacement.
Before that, she was at Aberdeen Asia, where she spent 10 years on the indirect real estate team.
CBRE Investment Management has $143.9 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
