David Fairs, former executive director of regulatory policy, analysis and advice at The U.K. Pensions Regulator, was named partner at consultant Lane Clark & Peacock, a spokeswman confirmed.
Mr. Fairs will join the firm in April and will work closely with the firm's clients to help them with complex pension developments. The role is new.
"David brings a wealth of experience and insight that will help our clients understand and tackle their most important challenges. In his role at TPR he was passionate about driving positive change to help protect savers and bring about better retirement outcomes, and we are delighted that he will be working with us to continue that mission," Aaron Punwani, CEO of LCP, said in a news release Friday.
Mr. Fairs was replaced by Louise Davey, who is the interim director of regulatory policy, analysis and advice at The Pensions Regulator.
LCP has around £250 billion ($301.3 billion) in assets under advisement.
