Erinn King joined fixed-income manager Income Research & Management as chief strategy officer.
It is a new position. Ms. King will be responsible for developing and executing the firm's growth strategy as well as directing the firm's product priorities, said a news release Monday.
She will report to Bill O'Malley, chief executive officer and co-chief investment officer, and will also work closely with co-CIO Jim Gubitosi and Susan Brengle, head of client relationships and business development, the news release said.
Ms. King will be based in Boston, a spokesman for the firm said in an email.
Ms. King was most recently a managing director at Payden & Rygel where she was responsible for client relations and business development for the East Coast, Bermuda, and Canada, the release added. Payden & Rygel could not be immediately reached for further details.
IR&M has $92 billion in assets under management.
