Aaron Joseph was named managing director-fund strategy and development at Chicago Pacific Founders, a private equity firm.
It is a new position, a spokesman said in an email.
Mr. Joseph has 20 years of experience in investment and capital markets, having previously served as a fiduciary to public and private pension plans, endowments and foundations, health-care institutions, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and other institutions, a news release said.
In his role, Mr. Joseph will be "responsible for supporting CPF's capital raising, investor relations, strategy, and product development," the news release said.
Mr. Joseph will report to Mary Tolan, founder and managing partner, and Matthew Doyle, partner, head of investor relations and chief operating officer, the spokesman added.
Mr. Joseph was previously senior vice president-investor solutions at Blue Vista Capital Management, a real estate investment firm, the spokesman said. Blue Vista could not be immediately reached for further details.
CPF has more than $2.7 billion in assets under management in private funds focusing exclusively on health-care services.
