Sharon Lukacs has been named executive director of the $31.8 billion New York State Deferred Compensation Plan, effective March 1, succeeding David Fischer, who has retired.
Her appointment was announced Friday by the plan's governing board. Ms. Lukacs has been a staff member for 20 years, starting as an associate director and later being promoted to deputy director. The board hasn't named a successor for the deputy director's job.
Mr. Fischer joined the plan in November 2007 as deputy director and was appointed executive director in May 2014.
