C.C. Melvin Ike, a managing director in Blackstone's tactical opportunities group is leaving the firm, according to a spokesman.
"Blackstone is an incredible organization in every respect, and its commitment to excellence in its investment process is equally matched by its commitment to the diversity of those making investment decisions," Mr. Ike said in a written statement.
Over his 10 year's at Blackstone, Mr. Ike focused on private equity, growth equity and public equities across a variety of industries.
"We thank Mel for his contributions to the tactical opportunities team … and wish him nothing but success in this next chapter," said David Blitzer, global head of Blackstone tactical opportunities, and Christopher James, senior managing director and chief operating officer of tactical opportunities, in a separate written statement.
